Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 16, 2026

The short version: Some links on ToolVerdict are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This keeps the site free and funds our testing.

Which links are affiliate links?

Currently, links pointing to Semrush (buttons and text links labeled "Visit Semrush") are affiliate links operated through the Impact affiliate network. Links to other tools mentioned on this site (Ahrefs, Moz, SE Ranking, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog) are plain informational links — we earn nothing from them.

Every page that contains affiliate links also carries a visible disclosure box near the top of the page and near purchase buttons, so you never have to hunt for this information.

Does it affect our reviews?

No — and here's how we keep it that way:

What does "no extra cost to you" mean?

The commission comes out of the vendor's marketing budget, not your wallet. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor's site.

FTC compliance note

This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections). If you have questions about our affiliate relationships, contact us via the About page.
